First week of antibiotics has been successful. I have to wrestle this little rat at 8AM and 8PM every day to get him medicated. But he’s never been so healthy before.
Got the call this morning that Dude’s red blood cell volume has stabilized and he wanted to come home. The vets said he was rolling around in his cage and giving headbutts, so his energy is definitely back. Thanks for the support everybody!
Dude is in the hospital tonight. He’s been in a lot of pain the past few days and has a few conditions that he needs treated. I’m hoping that after his operation he’s full of the same goofy energy he always has. Gena spent the entire night trying to help him out and we’ve both spent our entire anniversary today getting him tested and treated. But we wouldn’t have spent it any other way, we love this guy.
